Spiced Beef & Black Bean Burrito Recipe

Spiced Beef & Black Bean Burrito:

Ingredients:

  • 1 Grounded Wholefoods wheat-free wrap
  • 200g ground beef
  • ½ cup black beans, drained and rinsed
  • ½ cup cooked rice
  • ¼ cup shredded cheese
  • ½ small red onion, diced
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp salsa
  • ¼ avocado, sliced

Method:

  1. Prepare your wrap smooth side up.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and cook the diced onion until soft.
  3. Add ground beef, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper, and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in black beans and cooked rice, heating through.
  5. Layer the beef mixture, cheese, salsa, and avocado on the wrap.
  6. Roll tightly, toast in a sandwich press, slice in half and top with a drizzle of sour cream and sweet chilli sauce!
