Recipe 1: Grilled Chicken and Avocado Wrap

Ingredients:

  • 1 Grounded Wholefoods Tomato and Capsicum wrap
  • 100g chicken breast
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
  • 2 tbsp Greek yogurt or Tzatziki 
  • A pinch of salt and pepper
  • Optional: a sprinkle of chopped corriander

Prepare Chicken: Thinly slice chicken breast.
Assemble Wrap: Spread Greek yogurt / Tzatsiki on the wrap, layer with sliced chicken, avocado, and shredded lettuce. Add another drizzle of Tzatziki.
Wrap It Up: Fold up the bottom and roll the sides in tightly. 

 

Recipe 2: Chicken Caesar Wrap

Ingredients:

  • 1 Grounded Wholefoods Tomato and Capsicum wrap
  • 100g chicken breast
  • 1 rasher bacon
  • 1/4 cup chopped Romaine  / Iceberg lettuce
  • 1 tbsp Caesar dressing
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: add a chopped boiled egg and a few croutons for added crunch

Prepare Bacon and Chicken: Dice the bacon and fry until slightly coloured in a pan. Slice the chicken breast.
Assemble Wrap: Spread Caesar dressing on the wrap, add chopped Romaine lettuce, chopped bacon and sliced chicken, sprinkle with grated Parmesan. Drizzle a little more dressing if desired.
Wrap It Up: Fold the bottom of the wrap up and roll tightly.

 

Recipe 3: Spicy Chicken Fajita Wrap

Ingredients:

  • 1 Grounded Wholefoods Tomato and Capsicum wrap
  • 100g chicken breast
  • 1/4 red capsicum, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp salsa
  • 1 tbsp shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup mexican rice
  • Optional: a few slices of jalapeño for heat

Prepare Chicken, Vegetables and Rice: Slice the chicken, bell pepper, and onion. Sauté onion and bell pepper in a pan until soft (about 5 minutes). Heat rice as per packet instructions.
Assemble Wrap: Spread rice over centre of the wrap leaving space to fold the bottom up. Add chicken, sautéed veggies, salsa and shredded cheese.
Wrap It Up: Roll tightly and enjoy, optionally heating it on a sandwich press or dry frypan for a warm, crispy finish.

 

Recipe 4: Mediterranean Chicken Wrap

Ingredients:

  • 1 Grounded Wholefoods Tomato and Capsicum wrap
  • 100g chicken breast
  • 2 tbsp Tzatziki
  • 1/4 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 cup diced tomato
  • Optional: a few kalamata olives, chopped

Prepare Chicken: Slice chicken breast
Assemble Wrap: Spread Tzatsiki over the wrap, layer with sliced chicken, cucumber, and shredded lettuce.
Wrap It Up: Roll tightly and serve with extra olives if desired.

 

Recipe 5: Avocado Ranch Chicken Wrap

Ingredients:

  • 1 Grounded Wholefoods Tomato and Capsicum wrap
  • 100g grilled chicken breast
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tbsp ranch dressing
  • 1 tbsp Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: a few grape tomatoes, sliced in half

Prepare Chicken: Slice the chicken breast.
Assemble Wrap: Spread out the lettuce on the wrap, add sliced chicken, avocado, and dressing. Sprinkle with parmesan.
Wrap It Up: Roll tightly and serve, with optional grape tomatoes on the side.

 

SHOPPING LIST

    • Grounded Wholefoods Tomato and Capsicum wraps
    • 500g grilled chicken breast (100g per wrap)
    • 1 bacon rasher
    • 2 avocados
    • 1 head of Romaine or Iceberg lettuce (or equivalent shredded lettuce)
    • 1 red capsicum
    • 1 small cucumber
    • 1 small onion
    • 1 small tomato
    • Optional: handful of grape tomatoes
    • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt 
    • 1/4 cup Tzatziki
    • 1/4 cup Caesar dressing
    • 1/4 cup Ranch dressing
    • 1/4 cup Hummus
    • 1/4 cup Salsa
    • 1/2 cup Ready to Eat Mexican rice
    • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1/4 cup shredded cheese (for fajita wrap)
    • Optional: cilantro, kalamata olives, jalapeños, or croutons for extra flavour

General Tips for All Wraps:

Grill the Wrap: For extra flavour and texture, grill the assembled wraps on a sandwich press for a couple of minutes on each side until golden brown.

Serving: Serve with a side of salsa, greek yogurt / Tzatziki, or Ranch dressing for dipping.
